Tillamook Marionberry Pie ice cream sandwiched in frosted oatmeal cookies. Styled + eaten by me!
Wonderful Margaret caught me taking a picture of my ice cream sandwich. I'm so grateful, as I rarely get candids of myself.
Visual voice is imperative in our short news cycles, and even shorter attention spans. Images always have, and will continue to provide the fastest, most powerful impact of who you are, what you represent, and how people can interact with you. After all, this is a world filled with collaboration, and communication.

Tillamook is a great example of a company that has a clear visual message. Just taking a peek at Pinterest, Instagram, and their Twitter feed immediately introduces you to the company's unique personality.
My 8YO, our personalities totally jive with fun and quirky.
Personality, plus a great product, are why we're die-hard fans of Tillamook. They are fun, quirky, welcoming, playful, and full of color. These personality traits appeal to me when I look for friends to hang out with. The great news is, the people that work for Tillamook are totally hang-out worthy. I just hope I'm cool enough to warrant them wanting to hang with me. *fingers crossed*
Sure, there are those of us that have been online since we were young 'uns, and that can make us a bit stale, or routine. So I busted out my note-taking skills to key-in on what my visuals should focus on.
Would you like to know what those are?
I'm going to tell you anyway.
Keep your visual voice informative, entertaining, inspirational.
Look at us, we just got all shimmery from the refresher.
I loved the chance to learn from Tillamook and the power of visual voice. Adore the venue, Sacramento's ThinkHouse Collective. The evening laser-focused my efforts. I always aim to be the same person I am online as I am offline. I'm a huge fan of genuine, happy, kind people. It's such a joy when people and companies/brands we follow, and adore, are truly who they are regardless of social venue.

Incidentally, I love Tillamook ice cream. They let me take some home. Sweet! I got away with the Fireside S'mores and Chocolate Peanut Butter. My favorite is Marionberry Pie, but I had to grab the Fireside S'mores because it's a new flavor. Let me tell you, it's S'morelicious.
Tillamook provided a brilliant training a goody bag, and ice cream. All the enthusiasm, and copious note-taking are entirely my own. I really do miss being a student.
